Dr. Tabitha Garvin-Betancourt

Tabitha joined the Big Sky Way team in 2004 with a passion to nurture businesses in building amazing teams, bringing out the best in their leadership and employees, and contributing to the broader community. She has worked within the military and Veteran communities, credit union industry, public education, and nonprofit organizations. Tabitha draws on her 30 plus years of experience in education, psychology, and management to work on developing cohesive teams, vibrant individuals, and successful programs. She has been nationally recognized with awards from the Credit Union National Association, State of Montana Wellness Program Initiatives, service to military and Veteran community by Montana Joining Community Forces and has served on local, state and National initiatives to pioneer prevention and recovery programs.

Tabitha contributes to the broader community as the leader of Rocking Tree Farm offering agri-therapy to those affected by trauma, teaching homesteading skills workshops, and expanding awareness of the link between good food and mental health and wellness.

She also serves as President of the Montana Chapter of the Farmer Veteran Coalition and Vice President of Elevate Montana Helena Affiliate.

Firmly rooted in Montana, Tabitha and her Army Veteran husband, enjoy their 20-acre homestead, gaming, and bringing joy and good food to those around them.
